# Paraform MCP for recruiters

> Connect your Paraform recruiter account to Claude or ChatGPT, then ask about your roles, candidates, recommendations, and calls.

The Paraform connector lets an AI assistant read your Paraform recruiter data while you chat. Ask it to find roles that fit a candidate, compare a candidate against a role brief, or summarize a Parascribe call. The assistant answers from your live Paraform data, with links back to each role in Paraform.

The connector is for **recruiters on Paraform**. It acts as you, and it only reads. It can't submit candidates, change your CRM, or message anyone.

<Note>
  The connector is in early access. If your account isn't enabled yet, sign-in stops with an access message. Email [team@paraform.com](mailto:team@paraform.com) to ask for access.
</Note>

## Before you start

You need all of these, plus the Google account and assistant plan listed in [Before you start](/mcp/overview#before-you-start):

* A Paraform recruiter account that Paraform approved and that is active.
* Early access to the connector on your Paraform account.

## Set up

Follow [Connect](/mcp/overview#connect) to add Paraform to Claude or ChatGPT and sign in with Google. Then come back here for what you can ask.

## What the assistant can read

After you sign in, the assistant can:

* See who you are on Paraform
* Read the roles you can work on, including full role briefs and your saved role preferences
* Read the candidates in your CRM and your submissions
* Read your Parascribe calls, including transcripts

The assistant sees the same data you see in the Paraform app, and only your own data. It can't read another recruiter's candidates or calls.

## Example prompts

Each prompt works in Claude and in ChatGPT. In ChatGPT, start the message with `@Paraform`. Replace text in brackets with your own value.

| Ask | What the assistant does |
| - | - |
| Find remote senior backend roles that pay over \$200k. | Searches roles with your filters and links each role in Paraform |
| What roles should I submit my newest candidate to? | Finds the candidate in your CRM, then lists the roles Paraform recommends for them, strongest first |
| Pick one of those roles and draft screening questions for it. | Reads the full role brief, including requirements and hiring manager questions, then drafts the questions |
| Which of my candidates are already claimed at \[company]? | Checks your CRM against an active role at that company and flags candidates that another recruiter is already on, or that you can't submit |
| Summarize my last Parascribe call and list next steps. | Finds your most recent call, reads the transcript, and summarizes it |
| What ParaAI recommendations are waiting for me? | Lists the candidate matches that hiring managers sent you and that you haven't acted on |

For the full list of what the assistant can call, see [Tools](/mcp/recruiter/tools).

## What the connector doesn't do

* It doesn't write. It can't submit candidates, edit candidates or roles, change preferences, or send messages.
* It doesn't show saved tasks or meeting action items yet.
* It doesn't return candidate phone numbers, candidate email addresses, or resume files.
* It returns at most 20 rows per request (50 for candidates, calls, and candidate eligibility checks). Ask the assistant for the next page when it says more exist.

## Your data

* **What the assistant receives:** the Paraform data that answers your question. This can include role details and fees. It can include candidate profiles with work history, LinkedIn URLs, and your CRM notes. It can include call transcripts, with participant names. It doesn't return the email addresses of call participants. Your assistant provider handles that data under its own terms.
* **Confidential searches:** when a role is a confidential search, the assistant gets the role's anonymized company name. Use that name in anything a candidate reads.

For what Paraform receives, how to disconnect, and the privacy policy, see [Paraform MCP](/mcp/overview#your-data).
