# Recruiter tools

> Every tool the Paraform connector gives your AI assistant, and what each one reads.

The assistant picks a tool for each question, so you don't call tools by name.

Every tool is **read-only**. No tool creates, changes, or deletes data. Each tool reads only your own Paraform data.

## Roles

| Tool | What it reads |
| - | - |
| `listRecruiterRoles` | Roles you can work on, in the same order as the Browse page. Filters include location, workplace, role type, salary, years of experience, investors, tech stack, visa sponsorship, posting age, and hiring manager rating. It can also apply your saved preferences, or show only the roles you work on. |
| `listRecruiterActiveRoles` | Roles you're working on: every role where you hold a primary slot or have a candidate submitted, reviewed, interviewing, or at offer. It can narrow to primary slots, trials in progress, single submissions, or ParaAI submissions. |
| `getRecruiterRole` | The full brief for one role: requirements, traits to look for and avoid, hiring manager questions, interview stages, outreach guidance, the company pitch, and pipeline patterns |
| `getRecruiterPreferences` | The role preferences you saved in Paraform |

## Candidates

| Tool | What it reads |
| - | - |
| `listRecruiterCandidates` | Candidates you own in your Paraform CRM, newest first. Search by name, headline, location, or employer, and filter by tag or relationship status. |
| `getRecruiterCandidate` | One CRM candidate in full: work history, education, stated preferences, your notes and tags, and submission history |
| `getCandidateRoleEligibility` | Whether you can submit one candidate to one role, and whether someone else already submitted them there |
| `listCandidateEligibilityForRole` | Which of your candidates are already claimed at a role's company. It checks up to 300 of your candidates, returns 50 rows per page, and counts all of them in a summary. |

Eligibility results never name other recruiters.

## Recommendations

| Tool | What it reads |
| - | - |
| `listRecommendedRolesForCandidate` | Roles Paraform recommends for one of your candidates, strongest first, at most 20 |
| `listRecruiterRecommendations` | Recommended submissions across every candidate in your CRM |
| `listParaAIRecommendations` | ParaAI matches: candidates a hiring manager asked you to submit. Filter by pending, submitted, dismissed, or expired. |

## Parascribe calls

| Tool | What it reads |
| - | - |
| `listParascribeCalls` | Your recorded Parascribe calls, newest first, with participants and summaries |
| `getParascribeCall` | One call with its full transcript |

## Account

| Tool | What it reads |
| - | - |
| `getIdentity` | Your Paraform name, email, and the access the connection holds |

## Limits

* **Page size:** list tools return at most 20 rows per request. Candidate, call, and candidate eligibility lists return at most 50, and the list of roles you're working on returns up to 100. The assistant can ask for the next page.
* **Request rate:** 120 requests per minute for each account. Each tool call also checks your sign-in, which counts as a request, so a busy chat can reach the limit at about 60 tool calls a minute. Above the limit, requests fail for the rest of the minute.
* **Pipeline history:** a role brief shows your 30 newest submissions to that role.
