Fast-track is a per-candidate opt-in, the same setting as the in-app Fast-track this candidate toggle. It’s stored per candidate per owning recruiter. When a hiring manager shows interest in a ParaAI match for a fast-tracked candidate, Paraform emails the candidate directly with a link to review the role and self-submit. The owning recruiter is CC’d and notified, and keeps full ownership of the candidate. Without the opt-in, only the recruiter is notified.

The opt-in is stored, not acted on

Setting fast-track changes nothing right away. Paraform re-checks every precondition at the moment a hiring manager shows interest:
  • The owning recruiter is enabled for fast-track.
  • The candidate isn’t off the market.
  • A contact email is on file.
  • The recruiter-entered work preferences are complete.
If any of these fails at that moment, the recruiter-only flow runs instead.

Read

GET /talent-network/candidates/{candidateUserId}/fast-track (talent_network:read):
offMarket is true while the candidate is explicitly off the market. The opt-in is still stored and returned, but it won’t fire until they’re back on the market.

Set

PUT /talent-network/candidates/{candidateUserId}/fast-track (talent_network:write, write rate tier):
The response echoes the stored state and matches a later GET. The write is accepted while the candidate is off the market, and offMarket: true in the response tells you it won’t fire yet. Retries converge on the same state, so no Idempotency-Key is needed.

Who can read and write

candidateUserId comes from the membership list, lookup, or batch items.
Writes are bound to the recruiter who created the API key: a key can only set fast-track on that recruiter’s own candidates. To change another recruiter’s candidates, use a key that recruiter created on the API Keys tab. The key list shows who created each key.
