The Paraform connector lets an AI assistant read your hiring data on Paraform while you chat. Ask which candidates wait on your decision, compare a resume against the recruiter’s notes, or pull the interview feedback for a candidate. The assistant answers from your live Paraform data, with links back to each candidate in Paraform. This page is for hiring managers and company admins on Paraform. The connector acts as you, and it only reads. It can’t move, reject, or schedule candidates, and it can’t message anyone. Recruiters, see the recruiter guide.
Access is by invitation. Paraform turns on the connector for your company and for you. If you aren’t invited yet, sign-in stops with an access message. Email team@paraform.com to ask for access.

Before you start

You need all of these, plus the Google account and assistant plan listed in Before you start:
  • A Paraform company account that belongs to one company.
  • An invitation to the connector, and the connector turned on for your company.

Set up

Follow Connect to add Paraform to Claude or ChatGPT and sign in with Google. Then come back here for what you can ask.

What the assistant can read

After you sign in, the assistant can:
  • See who you are on Paraform and which company you belong to
  • Read the roles you can manage
  • Read the candidates you can see on those roles, including submission notes, screening answers, and resume text
  • Read recorded interview stages and the scorecards you can see
The assistant sees the same data you see in the Paraform app:
  • Company admins see all of the company’s roles.
  • Other company users see the roles they’re approved for.
  • Candidates and feedback follow the same visibility rules as the Paraform app.
If you are also a recruiter on Paraform, the assistant gets both sets of tools. Each tool acts as the matching role.

Example prompts

Each prompt works in Claude and in ChatGPT. In ChatGPT, start the message with @Paraform. Replace text in brackets with your own value. For the full list of what the assistant can call, see Tools.

What the connector doesn’t do

  • It doesn’t write. It can’t advance, reject, or schedule candidates, leave feedback, or send messages.
  • It doesn’t return interview transcripts or internal notes.
  • It doesn’t guess. When Paraform has no recorded feedback or rejection reason, the assistant gets no reason to report.
  • It works for one company. An account that belongs to more than one company can’t connect.
  • It returns 20 candidates per request. Ask the assistant for the next page when it says more exist.

Your data

  • What the assistant receives: the Paraform data that answers your question. This can include candidate names, resume text, recruiter submission notes, and screening answers. It can include interview dates, scorecards, and rejection messages. Your assistant provider handles that data under its own terms.
For what Paraform receives, how to disconnect, and the privacy policy, see Paraform MCP.
